Cambodia exported 334,176 tons of rubber in the first 11 months of 2023, up 3.6 percent from 322,586 tons in the same period last year, according to the latest report of the General Directorate of Rubber of Cambodia.
The report said the country earned $445.4 million from the export of rubber in the first 11 months, down 4.4 percent from $465.8 million in the same period last year; the average cost of exports was $1,333 per ton, about $111 lower than in the same period last year.
The country's rubber is mainly exported to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and China.
As of today, Cambodia has a total of 407,172 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 320,184 hectares or 78.6% can be harvested.
